Underneath every proper woman there is a wild woman begging to be released. Each woman shows off this side of herself in different ways. Some get piercings, others prefer tattoos, and more than most like to experiment with their hair color. Almost every woman has had that day where she just wanted to go with a vibrant color that breaks all boundaries. Here are a few examples of some pastel and neon colors for trying out during those brave ventures.
Pastel
This is a subtle approach to adding pastels. Women with pale blonde hair can pull this delicate look off the best. It requires a cap or some foil whichever the woman prefers, and just a few streaks of light pink and blue spread evenly around the hair line. Women with darker hair will find that these colors will look much bolder, or they will have to leave the dye in longer for it to really show. |
Blue has been a favorite for women for subtle colored streaks. This grey blue on blonde hair is not gaudy, but still adds enough color to get attention. |
This color can make people look twice before they realize that the woman’s hair is not blonde or white, but actually a light frosted pink. The tint is just pale enough to make people wonder what exactly her hair color is. |

This greyish purple should be taken with consideration before dying. Women with pale complexions might want to go with a different color as this particular pastel might make them look like zombie or sickly. Also, as with the picture, make sure the eyes pop or are dark enough to stand out or they could look sunken. |
This icing blue color is actually a popular choice for fair headed individuals. It gives their style a little pop. As with the purple, make sure to style makeup to avoid sunken eyes or unnecessary pale skin. |

Lady Gaga is the leader on funky hair styles. This straight look with a pale purple to an almost neon blue is a fun style. Just dye the purple first. Dark headed individuals might want to take some time to lighten their hair up a bit before adding the purple. Adding the blue on the ends will be a piece of cake after that. Just make sure to get a good moisturizer after using so many chemicals in the hair. |

This hair style is inspired. The short cut combined with this pastel green is so much fun. As in the picture, to get the best out of these hair colors try styling them up with curls or other flattering frames instead of leaving the hair straight. (Photo Source: thelovelylocks.tumblr.com) |

It is an Easter egg collection. No only kidding. This haircut and the pastel colors are actually great. The pink is particularly flattering for this particular style. It is simple and gives the woman a little something extra. |
Neon
Neon colors like this vivid green or even a bright purple or blue work well with only one or two streaks somewhere towards the front of the hair. When the woman pulls her hair up, or even puts it in a bun as seen here, it makes this fun design. |
Neon greens and yellows work great on dark hair. It is important to leave the dye on longer than normal to make sure the color comes out normal instead of blending with the dark hair though. When the hair is thrown up in a ponytail it can look wild and daring. (Photo Source: audrey-mylittleponyhairinsp.buzznet.com) |

Fair complexions look great with the vivid neon orange. It does not wash their face out but actually does the exact opposite. It emphasizes the eyes and any color on the cheeks. Dark black eyeliner also works wonders with this hair color – as well as light-pink lipstick. |
Neon green is for the free spirits at heart. This color proudly tells the world this woman is just trying to have a good time. It is also great for combining with bright eye shadows and the blackest eyeliner. |
Women with dark brown or black hair that want to try out neon hair dye should stick to portions of the hair to keep from damaging too much of it. Trying a color like this purple on the ends looks great combined with the contrasting dark. Depending on the woman’s skin tone makeup choices can vary. Light complexions might want to wear darker (red and black) makeup to keep from being washed out, and darker complexions might want to try brighter colors (bright blues and purples). |

This neon rainbow is really for the bold at heart. This can be a tricky dye job so doing it without professional help is not recommended. The woman might also consider getting it done across a week’s timespan to keep hair damage to a minimum. Fully condition after the process is complete. |
